As a community, we strive to serve all populations. We know the cost of high quality preschool limits this opportunity for some families. Here are a few ways Portland Play Project can help.
We accept Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) assistance. Please check out https://www.oregon.gov/delc/programs/pages/erdc.aspx
to see if your family qualifies.
We offer partial work trade. Please contact us to inquire about these positions.
We offer scholarship positions for families that apply and are eligible. We are actively seeking underprivileged families, families of color, and LGBTQ families.
In addition to an ecologically and community based preschool experience, rates also include a nutritious and organic AM and PM snack. Tuition is broken into equal monthly installments and due on the 1st of the month.
We require a $25 tour/application fee and a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your position. This $500 will go directly towards classroom supplies, the garden, teacher inservice in August and a Back to School Night catered dinner in August. Please email info@portlandplayproject.com to schedule a tour. $25 tour fee is due at or before time of tour and pays for application fee if you choose to apply.
We are a 10 month school running the Tuesday after Labor day to the last week in June.

Date Night
Once a quarter, the staff of PPP will hang with your kiddo/s from 5:30-8:00! Drop off your child/children at the school and have an evening for yourself or with a loved one. We provide a hearty snack, please serve dinner beforehand.
Fresh Produce
When the seasons allow, your child will bring home fresh produce from our garden.
Fair Pay
Know that your teachers are being paid a competitive wage!
A percentage of your monthly enrollment fee will go towards scholarship positions.
